It seems like, bKash is on a mission. After just launching the exciting new app, bKash is on the headlines again with another good news for its users. Now, all the bKash users can add money to their bKash account from their Visa card using the bKash App.
Earlier this year, bKash also incorporated Mastercard for the same Add Money Service.
Customers will have to log in to the app, and then they will be able to link their Visa card credentials to load money into the e-wallets. EBL (Eastern Bank Ltd) will provide all the technological support for the project.
On Sunday, Kamal Quadir (CEO of bKash), Ali Reza Iftekhar (CEO of EBL) and TR Ramachandran (Visa’s group country manager for South Asia) met at the bKash head office and exchanged the agreement.

“Visa is committed to deepening its partnerships in Bangladesh. We are proud to partner with bKash and provide a seamless experience to millions of Visa customers funding their wallets using Visa cards,” reportedly said, Mr Ramachandran.
“This bKash and Visa handshake will go further for the cause of digital Bangladesh and create an ecosystem for card users to have greater reach and touchpoints for cashless transactions,” said EBL chief Ali Reza Iftekhar.

The CEO of bKash Kamal Quadir also had something to say regarding bKash’s latest development as he said “The partnership will cater superior customer experience for both VISA and bKash. The time-consuming process of standing in queues for credit card bill payment will no longer be required. It also opens opportunities for VISA and banks to design products and services for common people which now can be channelled through bKash.”
Through the bKash app, the customers will also be able to pay their Visa credit card bills. And Needless to say, that bKash will rapidly gain some new customers for sure.
