In more ways than one, a father is every child’s best friend. The one you grow up playing ball with, the one who always takes you to school in the morning, the one, despite their clumsiness, will try their hardest to do your hair just the way you want it. A father is a safe place to pour all your problems to, and can always rely on to make you laugh again, regardless of your worries.

We always expect them to be there by our side no matter what, and with the angels that they are, they have never once let us down. However, things have changed and the frontline workers, who are bearing one of the biggest responsibilities for this country and its people, are fathers too.

Most of us are lucky to be able to get to work from the comforts of our home, but many do not have that privilege. Their work requires their physical presence, even during this pandemic. PRAN Frooto used the occasion of this year’s Father’s Day to acknowledge that fact and wholeheartedly appreciate all the working fathers.

Whether you are a doctor, a police officer, or a service worker, we are deeply indebted to your unrelenting service for the country. Because of you, we can stay safe, well within the comforts of our own home. You have proven the fact that you are the real superheroes here, and for that reason, you deserve to be celebrated on this special occasion.

With an unhealthy obsession for all things Harry Potter, I have always been the nerdy girl who colored inside the lines and lived by the rules. I guess those were the first signs that gave away the fact that I’d grow up to be a bona fide perfectionist. I'm currently working on getting my business degree with big dreams of making a positive change for humanity. As of now, I’m in my final year at BRAC University, majoring in Finance and Marketing. I believe in constant growth and learning, hence I'm always up for new challenges! The world of business has always fascinated me and I'm striving to be a significant part of it. But, my love for reading and writing is and always has been the center of my life.
