Panasonic started the year 2020 off with their latest ad campaign #JunkTheJunk that encourages you to start your health journey by ‘junking the junk’. The video ad campaign was aired on the 30th of December 2019, accompanied by social media hashtags to increase consumer engagement.

The prominent message of their ad campaign asks conscious millennials to cleanse their dietary habits. According to Panasonic, the first step should be cleaning out your refrigerator. After all, there is no point in having a top-notch refrigerator if you are only going to fill it with junk food. What matters most is what’s on the inside.

The video starts off with an overview of the unhealthy eating habits of the previous year and the changes you should make for this year.

From switching out artificial sugary treats with fruits and berries, cutting calories by eating leafy greens, and even replacing bottled preservatives with citrus water.

This 42 seconds video has stunning shots and a fascinating song depicting the message, all the while effortlessly show-casing the various storage features and stunning exterior shots of their ECONAVI refrigerator line.

The underlying message of the #JunkTheJunk campaign and even the video itself falls perfectly in line with the brand and shines a light on Panasonic’s ‘Experience Fresh’ proposition. We are already a month into the year 2020, but it’s never too late to #JunkTheJunk with #PanasonicRefrigerators!

With an unhealthy obsession for all things Harry Potter, I have always been the nerdy girl who colored inside the lines and lived by the rules. I guess those were the first signs that gave away the fact that I’d grow up to be a bona fide perfectionist. I'm currently working on getting my business degree with big dreams of making a positive change for humanity. As of now, I’m in my final year at BRAC University, majoring in Finance and Marketing. I believe in constant growth and learning, hence I'm always up for new challenges! The world of business has always fascinated me and I'm striving to be a significant part of it. But, my love for reading and writing is and always has been the center of my life.
