There’s no beating around the bush, the pandemic is taking a toll on everyone. The uncertainty of the future is unnerving, the state of the situation deteriorating every day is devastating, to say the least. If that wasn’t all, being confined to our homes for weeks till the unforeseeable future is mentally draining.
Whether you love it or hate it, right now social distancing is the only way of keeping yourself and others safe. Stay indoors unless it is a dire necessity, and even then do not stay out for long and do not engage with others.
Having said that, it is especially hard for Bangladeshis to stay cooped up inside during this time due to what this month signifies. When you look back to what took place 49 years ago, when we proudly and fearlessly stood against the Pakistani army, it’s disheartening to know that we are cowering and helpless at the hands of an unseen virus.
When this month was supposed to be full of rejoice and celebration, paying homage to all those who fought bravely, we have our hands tied, having to stay indoors.
Take a look at this campaign Grameenphone has done while successfully maintaining social distancing themselves. The song itself is uplifting, encouraging people to not lose hope while effectively highlighting the importance of social distancing.
For many of us, social distancing might seem insignificant but we are failing to see the bigger picture here. More awareness regarding the self-quarantine process needs to be created for the people of this country.
We hope you are staying safe during these hard times and social distancing for the greater good. Let us know what you thought of Grameenphone’s creative way of spreading awareness while practicing social distancing, and for the latest Bangladeshi marketing updates, stay with Markedium.
