Creative IT Institute recently hosted the highly successful ‘Creative IT Career Fest 2025,’ a two-day mega event that brought together the country’s leading tech giants, brands, and HR experts under one roof. Held on August 23rd and 24th in the heart of Dhaka, Dhanmondi. More than just a career fair, the event was a pivotal step by Creative IT Institute to advance Bangladesh’s digital economy by creating opportunities for its students and all participants.
The grand inauguration of the Career Fest was led by chief guest Monir Hosen, Chairman of Creative Business Group. His opening remarks marked the official start of the special event, where he said, “Bangladesh’s youth are our greatest strength. Through this fest we have not only created job opportunities, but also inspired them with confidence, networks, and the courage to shape the nation’s future. We believe these young people will lead the next digital Bangladesh.”
Adding to that vision, Zia Uddin Mahmud, COO of Creative Business Group, remarked: “Career development is not just about employment, it is about creating a bridge between academia and industry. This fest showed how the right platform can transform learning into real opportunities.”
Echoing the global perspective, Shampa Parvin, Chief Global Officer of Creative Business Group, said: “The world of work is changing rapidly. Our mission is to ensure Bangladeshi youth are globally competitive, equipped with future-ready skills and confident enough to take on any challenge in any market.”
The theme of this year’s edition was “A Gateway to Tomorrow’s Careers”, and it lived up to its promise. The campus turned into a hub of knowledge and collaboration, where more than 20 industry leaders came together to share their journeys, experiences, and visions for the future with young participants. Their words carried not only lessons from the corporate world but also personal stories of risk, resilience, and success reminding students that every leader was once a learner with a dream.
Among them, Shadab Shayeri Ahmed, Product owner at Optimizely, reminded students that a product manager’s responsibility is to “align vision with execution, act as the bridge between user needs and business goals, and always ask what problem does this solve.” K M Hasan Ripon, Executive Director of Daffodil Group, emphasized, “Leadership, branding, and strategy together create lasting impact – not one without the other.”
Ishmam Chowdhury, COO of Shikho, inspired students to “stay curious, solve real problems with AI, and use it as a tool to multiply your potential,” while Omer Sharif Ibney Hai, Founder of Next Leaders, stressed that “respect, engagement, and listening turn customer experience into a true revenue engine.”
Munaf Mojib Chowdhury, Head of Brand & Communication at Axentec PLC, urged the youth, “Don’t scroll your future away, create it, because the future belongs to creators, not observers.” He pointed out that AI-driven strategies built on authenticity are now replacing generic advertising. Muhibbul Muktadir Tanim of ICCDRB cautioned that “downtime carries hidden costs, but with strong cybersecurity and continuity planning, those risks can be transformed into opportunities for growth.”
Deepesh Banik of Web Fontaine described “uncertainty as constant and speed as survival, adding that agile leadership is no longer optional but an essential mindset for the digital era.” Del H Khan, Founder of Hunter Security Services, echoed that message, noting, “Victory belongs not to the strongest, but the smartest. The battlefield of the future is AI, robotics, and cyber defense where skill isn’t a luxury but a necessity.”
From the technology front, Md Abdur Rouf, “AI & Creative Lead, Nagad, stressed continuous learning, adaptation, and execution as the recipe for success.” Farzana Afrin Tisha, Tech Lead and Managing Director of Microsoft Bangladesh, Bhutan & Nepal, explained that “cloud and AI are reshaping our reality, but the real power lies in continuous learning.” Yousup Faruqu, Managing Director of Microsoft Bangladesh, Bhutan & Nepal, added that “talent thrives when empowered adaptability and reskilling will define future success.”
On creativity, Syed Saddam Hussein, Brand Strategist at Grameenphone, remarked, “Creativity is not about features, it’s about value. The right balance with timely execution always leads to better outcomes.” Kingkor Ahsan, Vice President at Weable Digital, drew applause when he said, “The world is built with stories. Whoever can tell a better story builds a better brand.”
Beyond inspiration, the festival created direct employment through its on-spot job fair, with 14 companies including Bdjobs.com, Creative Clipping Path Ltd (CCPL), Betopia Group, BRIDGE Chemie, Plexus Cloud, Editouch IT, Salmon Developers, Salamat, Ecomclips, and BINARYcgi. Over 1200+ applications were submitted, and many candidates secured jobs on the spot, a milestone that marked the event as one of the most significant career platforms in Bangladesh.
For many students, it was their first taste of a corporate interview; for others, it was the day they received their first offer letter. The atmosphere across the campus was charged with excitement, blending the energy of inspiration with the joy of new beginnings. Organizers noted that the Career Fest was not just a platform for discussion but a launchpad for Bangladesh’s youth to step confidently into the future.
As the curtains fell on Creative IT Career Fest 2025, the message left behind was clear: this was not just an event, but a step forward in preparing Bangladesh’s next generation of tech leaders. For the thousands who took part, it marked the beginning of new journeys strengthened by belief, confidence and opportunity.
