Green Delta Insurance PLC has announced the election of Kazi Mustaid Murshed FCA, FCCA, as the new chairman of its board of directors. A distinguished finance professional and business leader, Murshed brings over 25 years of comprehensive experience across finance, accounts, treasury, audits, taxation, systems development, and advisory services. The board expects his strategic leadership to further strengthen the company’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and sustainable growth.

Murshed holds a Master of Commerce in Finance from the University of Dhaka and is a Fellow Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB), as well as a Fellow of the UK-based Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Following his initial training at a prominent chartered accountancy firm in Bangladesh, he built an extensive career spanning leading national and multinational organizations. His professional journey includes key roles at ACI Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Beximco Textiles Limited, KPMG Bangladesh, and Atlas Copco Bangladesh Ltd, alongside international experience working in the United States and the United Kingdom.

Currently, Murshed serves as the proprietor of Mustaid Murshed & Co, Chartered Accountants, where he provides assurance, advisory, taxation, and financial consultancy services to a wide range of clients. Beyond his corporate endeavors, he is an avid global traveler who has visited more than 150 countries, holds membership in the US-based Travelers’ Century Club, and maintains dual citizenship in Bangladesh and the United States.
