YouTube Shorts rolled out globally1 min read
The short form video service has been launched in over 100 countries. The service was first launched in India which then was rolled out to 26 countries last year. It is still in the beta version.
As the popularity of short form video content is rising globally YouTube is testing shorts to rival TikTok. Meanwhile, TikTok is testing with longer-form video content which is similar to YouTube’s content.
