[dropcap]T[/dropcap]o celebrate 60 years in business, Fevicol has come with an outstanding campaign to show their long-lasting journey in the market. Conceptualized by Fevicol’s one of the oldest companion Ogilvy, the campaign instantaneously showed the journey in such a creative and humorous way.
The film exhibits the quality of Fevicol while drawing parallels with the changing ideal models of Indian socio-cultural situation. The campaign goes on air on August 23. Have a look:
The new film takes the crowd on a voyage of different generations through a point of view of a sofa. The advert opens way back in time where we see a recently married couple heading home with a skilled sofa.
As the story advances, we see the sofa being given over starting with one family then onto the next, one generation to another. The equivalent is complimented through an enthusiastic foundation score in UP vernacular. It features how the sofa has seen different occasions through its lifetime yet it’s going solid.
The end visuals take us through the creation of the sofa and how Fevicol is vital to making any furnishings.
Fun fact is that, this is the longest ever advert made by Fevicol in 60 years journey and this is also the first time ever a brand’s advertisement will be placed as content on OTT platforms like Hotstar, Sonyliv and Zee5.
Fevicol has always been known for their engaging and consumer centric marketing approach. Nothing different this time as well. The campaign indeed has successfully portrayed the priceless journey Fevicol has made so far.
