As the most prestigious battle among the best teams in cricket has started, the craze for the Cricket World Cup 2019 is on its peak with the fans are already gearing up the Bangladeshi in themselves. We all heard- Cricket is a funny game- well not wrong at all. It fascinates us all to experience how a game can unite the nation altogether.

Brands never fail to capitalize such opportunities like this. There are plenty of Bangladeshi brands that have already come up with ads and campaigns to stand along with the country to support the Tigers. Maybe some brands are planning to come up with something amazing within the next few days as well. But for now, let’s have a look at the 7 works from the brands that grabbed our attention for the first week:

Khelbe Tiger, Jitbe Tiger-Official Theme Song | Lifebuoy Bangladesh

Lifebuoy Bangladesh-the official sponsor of Bangladesh Cricket Team came up with a powerful commercial to kickstart the World Cup campaign. The campaign speaks everything about that game and our beloved team. For instance, the balance of our team and their promise to play with everything they got to make the country of 160million happy. After watching the first two games, couldn’t agree more with Lifebuoy on this.

BCB and Lifebuoy Bangladesh also came up with the official theme song for this year’s World Cup campaign.

Cholo Bangladesh| Grameenphone

Composed by Fuad-Al-Muqtadir-the prominent musician of Bangladesh, Grameenphone came up with the second edition of their “Cholo Bangladesh” fan song to fuel the spirit of youth and excitement of the game among all of us.

To support our tigers, Mojo tried to deliver a very different message. Win and lose, these are two complements of each game. But we often forget that whenever our tigers face defeat, it’s them who feel it first not us supporters. We can take the social media outrage against Mushfiq as exhibit A for his mistake against New Zealand as exhibit A.

Gazi Group has created a theme song to inspire our tigers. The execution is a total representation of full of life. The core of the commercial is to inspire them to play their best games and assure them that the 160m supporters are always standing with them.

Jersey Koi? | Shwapno

 Shwapno also came up with a very funny yet lively campaign to inspire to buy the official jersey of Bangladesh Cricket Team.  They kind of questioned the supporter status of someone who can but didn’t buy the jersey yet! Are you one of them? We hope not.
