Microsoft is set to host a Windows event on the 24th of June where they will reportedly reveal details of its “next generation of windows”. Microsoft may reveal a number of a significant update to Windows with notable UI changes, visual enhancements and possibly a new Windows logo. Microsoft will stop shipping the Windows 10X, the operating system built for dual screen devices. The company will introduce the visual elements of Windows 10X into the main version of Windows 10. A lot of the visual work has already commenced, with new system icons and File Explorer improvements. Microsoft is also focusing on improving the basic foundations of Windows, with fixes for a rearranging apps issue on multiple monitors, the addition of the Xbox Auto HDR feature, and improvements to Bluetooth audio support.
