Bangladesh has just commemorated International Mother Language day this year. To mark the day, Markedium takes a look at some of the brands that have shown brilliance in abundance with this year’s 21st February campaigns.
Many brands, from Grameenphone to Bata have leveraged the occasion to reach out to the mass audience with spot-on communications such as showing respect to local dialects, preserving the emotions and heritage of 1952, and encouraging the right use of the only blood earned mother tongue-Bengali.

Well, to be honest, the 21st February campaign from bKash wasn’t something extraordinary that we usually expect on an occasion like the International Mother Language Day. However, considering the recent buzz regarding the Bengali letter ‘ব’, bKash really hit a sixer with their simple yet very smart campaign. Kudos to the team!
