Euromoney, which is a monthly magazine on business and finance has recognized Standard Chartered Bank Bangladesh as the best international bank. The bank has been recognized for the third consecutive time.
SCB’s response to Covid-19 in the country played a significant part for the recognition. The bank gave loan repayment flexibilities, regulatory payment holidays and disbursed stimulus packages to its client during the pandemic period.
The bank also supported businesses through loan extensions, launched unique financing programs & enabled digital salary payments of 63,000 workers.
