Samsung Bangladesh has recently appointed Mohammad Shahriar as Head of Product Planning for its Mobile eXperience (MX) Business. In his new role, Shahriar will oversee the complete life cycle, lead Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies, manage pricing, and orchestrate high-impact marketing campaigns to strengthen Samsung’s leadership in mobile devices market as stated in the Press Release.
Shahriar has worked with Samsung for over 12 years, most recently serving as the Chief Manager and Head of Sales Team Training. In this position, he led a team of 13 members dedicated to developing training content and delivering sessions, where he spearheaded capacity-building programs for regional sales leaders, B2B managers, and more than a hundred sales representatives. Prior to Samsung, he was associated with Robi Axiata Limited, serving as the Manager for Digital Services.
Speaking on his appointment, Mohammad Shahriar said, “I am deeply honored to step into this new role at Samsung Bangladesh. As we continue to innovate, my focus will be on driving robust product strategies, delivering value to our consumers, and reinforcing Samsung’s position as a trusted technology leader in Bangladesh.”
