While women around the world face constant online harassment, the reality in Bangladesh has become even more difficult.
In response to this growing crisis and in line with the United Nations’ 16 Days of Activism, which highlighted digital violence against women; Asiatic Marketing Communications Ltd. and Radio Shadhin with Mongol Deep Foundation launched #MyNumberMyStory, inviting women to express how frequently they face online harassment by writing that number on their own bodies and sharing the photo with the hashtag #MyNumberMyStory.

The response was immense and brave. From well-known faces to countless everyday women, numbers came in; each one carrying anger, hurt, and years of silent suffering.
Yet the digital space responded in a tragically familiar way. Mockery and cruelty filled the comment sections, proving the very point the campaign set out to highlight: harassment hasn’t stopped, it has evolved.
This campaign became a reminder that the fight is far from over. To create a safer online world, women must be supported, heard, and empowered to speak without fear.
