The Hult Prize at BRAC University reached its grand finale on January 31st, marking a momentous occasion for aspiring social entrepreneurs on campus. The event, supported by the title sponsor BBS and featuring 10 valuable partners, showcased the innovative ideas of passionate teams aiming to address pressing global challenges.

The esteemed panel of judges, consisting of Associate (Acting Dean) Professor Mohammad Mujibul Haque PhD,  Ms Tahmina Afrose Tanna, Board of Directors, Walton Group, Dr Sebastian Groh, Professor,  BRAC Business School, and last but not least Mr. Toshan Paul, Deputy General Manager and Head of Brand Marketing ( PRAN Agro Ltd) brought a wealth of experience and expertise to the event. Their discerning evaluations played a pivotal role in determining the winners of the competition.

Team Jade emerged as the champions, their project evidently standing out for its potential impact and feasibility. Their innovative solution likely addressed a critical global issue, aligning with the Hult Prize’s mission to foster social entrepreneurship.

The first runner-up position was claimed by Team Atif, whose project demonstrated remarkable creativity and ingenuity. The judges were undoubtedly impressed by their dedication to creating a sustainable and scalable solution.

Team AlphaPi secured the second runner-up position, showcasing their commitment to addressing global challenges with a well-thought-out and impactful project. The competition was undoubtedly fierce, with all teams demonstrating a high level of dedication and passion for social change.
