DBH Finance PLC’s Half-Year Profit Grows by 32%

DBH Finance PLC, one of the country’s leading financial institutions with a prime focus on housing finance, has announced its financial results for the half year ended June 30, 2026. For the period, the company reported net profit after tax of BDT 556.46 million, 32% higher than the corresponding period of the previous year.

EPS for the half year stood at BDT 2.74, compared to BDT 2.07 for the same period last year. Net interest income grew by 44%, while operating income increased by 6.5% during the period. Net asset value per share stood at Tk. 50.79 as on June 30, 2026.

Non-performing loans (NPL) remained below 1% of the total portfolio, among the lowest in the industry. Notably, the company has maintained the highest credit rating, AAA, for 21 consecutive years.

As of June 30, 2026, DBH’s loan portfolio stood at approximately BDT 44,616 million, while its deposit portfolio stood at approximately BDT 43,980 million. The company currently serves customers through 18 branches covering all divisional headquarters, providing financial assistance for home ownership through its conventional scheme as well as its Islamic Shariah-based Finance Wing (IFW), while also mobilizing term and Mudaraba deposits from retail and corporate customers
