According to the data from the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC), Bangladesh ended July with 176.94 million mobile phone subscribers, up from 176.41 million in June 2021. Which accounts for an additional approximate 530K new mobile phone subscribers.

Grameenphone’s customer base increased to 82.48 million in July’21 from 82.03 million in June’21. However, Robi Axiata has seen a decrease in subscriber base to 51.81 million in July’21, down from 51.84 million in the previous month. There was also a minor increase in subscribers for Banglalink to 36.57 million in July’21 from 36.56 million in June’21. Lastly, Teletalk ended July’21 with 6.09 million subscribers, up from 5.98 million in June’21.
