Airbnb launched its recent marketing campaign ‘That’s why we airbnb’. The campaigns tell stories of real people and how they like to travel. These campaigns are lauded for showing the real perceptions of people travelling across the world.

The keywords of the campaigns also include ‘Freedom’, ‘Together’. The campaigns are indeed uniquely made by Wieden + Kennedy.

On the first campaign it covers the usual holiday trip of an Indian family. Spending their time having fun, playing games, visiting places with each other. On the other one, it shows the travelling story of two girls spending their time in Berlin. This couple spend their time unwinding new culture and authenticity. Their trip is no way related to the family trip of the first family. This is what exactly airbnb conceptualized through these campaigns. They pay attention to each traveler. No matter who they are and where they are travelling to.

These campaigns showcased both simplicity and audacity. While a family enjoys making memories in a homely way, a bold couple travels in a carefree nonconformist way.

Airbnb has always claimed bringing people together for adventures in their own way. The initiative with these series of campaigns is the first one to build consideration across the Indian market.
