[dropcap]P[/dropcap]ran Drinking Water released a campaign last week. The campaign promotes a marathon aka Walkathon specially organized for physically disabled people. This marathon is going to take place at Hatirjheel, Begunbari Ghaat on 3rd May.
The campaign portrays a man talking about his achievements. He is the captain of “Wheelchair Cricket Team” and Founder-President of “Dream for Disability Foundation”. Despite such great works he is still unfamiliar to many people. Afterwards there is an appearance of Habibul Bashar, former cricketer of Bangladesh Cricket Team. He pleads everyone to log in to Walkathon website and register for all the unsung heroes around us.

They have a brilliant thought for initiating this social campaign. They believe there are many gifted people residing everywhere with disability. Their stories are unknown to everyone. If we all gather together it can help them to happily move forward. In order to highlight and enlighten their spirit they made this event. Moreover, with each and every sign up for the registration, 5 taka will be donated to Dream For Disability Foundation.

In the context of our country, there are hardly any fitting opportunities for the physically challenged community. They cannot reach out to their dreams in spite of their inborn talents. They are not unlucky, we are the lucky ones indeed! Hence, at least we can do is to show our support.
Undoubtedly, Pran Drinking Water took a great step to break barriers. Events like this marathon can encourage them to rely on their talents. So, let’s mark the date- May 3rd and see you there!
