Tiktok Enters In To Augmented Reality Market1 min read

TikTok is following social media peers Snapchat and Facebook are experimenting with Augmented Reality. The company is reportedly testing with augmented reality developer tools which will enable content creators to create content with augmented reality effects.

According to Techcrunch, the platform is named TikTok Effect studio and is now in the beta stage. The company told Techcrunch that the new feature is just in the experimental phase and there is a chance that it may not be mass launched.

The decision seems like a wise decision from TikTok as it might enable more user engagement in the platform. The feature was launched earlier this month and is in the early development phase. According to a TikTok spoke person the company is always experimenting with new tools that may increase user engagement.
