Leading conglomerate Orion group has launched Orion Home Appliances Ltd and inaugurated two brand showrooms in Dhaka’s Mohammadpur and Mirpur 11 area on Thursday 15th July with two more showrooms at Jatrabari and Lalbagh area to be launched on Friday.
Orion Group’s Managing Director Salman Obaidul Karim, directors Arjuda Karim, Zareen Karim and Mehedi Hasan were amongst the senior executives present in the inauguration ceremony.
“The company has already begun manufacturing and assembling a complete range of home appliances in its newly built factory in Bhaluka, Mymensingh. The conglomerate invested over Tk450 crore in this venture, which created around 1,000 quality jobs for local individuals” said Md Rafiqul Qadr Siddiquie Parvez, the company’s Head of Business Development and Corporate Sales.
The electronics and appliances market of Bangladesh is growing at a double digit every year with annual growth of Tk10, 000 crore.
