Omera Cylinder Ltd is a renowned local manufacturer of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) containers. Recently, it has begun to export its products to international markets. Therefore, Omera became the first local LPG cylinder maker to export its products overseas.

According to a press release, Omera manufactured and exported the first Shipment of its LPG cylinders to a few companies based in Africa.

For the time being, Omera will supply its consignment of LPG containers to African countries only. Alongside that, the company hopes to reach Latin American countries by next year.

Moreover, before hitting the global market, this company accommodated the requirements of many local LPG operators. To emphasize, it offered offering them a wide range of products that meet international standards.

Notably, the usage of European machinery and technology, securing skilled human resources. Coupled with, maintaining the highest health and environmental safety resulted in the rapid growth of Omera.

According to the company CEO, Shamsul Haque Ahmed, Omera Cylinders plans to export all of his surplus production and expanding its manufacturing capacity simultaneously.

At this instant, the domestic demand for gas cylinders is around 60 lakh pieces. However, the industry’s manufacturing capacity is around 80 lakh to 90 lakh pieces.

Normally, Cylinders pass a 10-tier quality test before it is eligible for service. On this note, the  CEO added, “We have adopted all European equipment and machinery to manufacture world-class cylinders for exports”.

To sum up, Omera kept its commitment to meet the domestic demand for LPG cylinders. Moreover, their aim was to become a potential buyer overseas.

Not to mention, this achievement is recognition of its strong commitment to quality.
