NSU MIBC Rolls Out MarXcellence: Season 22 min read
With a team whose spirits refuse to give up and are filled to the brim with new ideas, Marketing and International Business Club of North South University rolls out the 2nd season of MarXcellence digital marketing competition!
Marketing and International Business Club of North South University has set out to launch Samsung presents MarXcellence, in association with Intelligent Machines for the second time. This time, MIBC aims to design a bigger and better platform for all the bright, enthusiastic and interested candidates with MarXcellence season 2.
MarXcellence Season 2
The club has successfully organized various events, seminars and competitions soon after its inception in 2019. Even during the Covid-19 lockdown, when all the activities of the world had come to a halt, MIBC optimized the existence of the internet and hosted several live sessions and online seminars. After the unprecedented success of the MarXcellence season 1, MIBC has taken the challenge to bring this event to the next level with greater force and enthusiasm. This year’s theme of the event is “Digital Marketing Beyond Borders,” aligned with the theme, MarXcellence will be held at a greater scale, inviting candidates from India, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, and the Maldives. Participants will encounter a diversified and extensive competition as well as explore the avenue of the much thriving aspect of business: digital marketing.
After resuming on-campus classes, this will be the first and the only competition that will be held in the university premises this semester. The event will be held from the 19th of March to the 23rd of April. In teams of 3-4 members, each team will have to complete the registration with valid information. The club will have online arrangements for international participants. The registration for the competition is completely free for both domestic and international ones; and the registration window will be open from the 20th to the 28th of March. The three rounds of the competition will test the contenders on their case-solving capacity, presentation skills, and knowledge of actual corporate marketing including start-ups.
Furthermore, to cater to the various questions of the participants, the club will arrange two workshops in between the rounds. Last but not the least, after all the brainstorming and labor, what awaits are the wonderful prizes. The champions will be awarded with BDT 1,00,000, and the 1st and 2nd runners-up with BDT 60,000 and BDT 40,000 respectively. Adding to that, the members of the top three teams will be fast tracked to Robi Internship program which is the associate partner of the event.
MarXcellence is a prerogative opportunity for the growing minds to test their knowledge, ability, skill and express themselves the best in the business.
