The Global Smartphone Brand ‘OnePlus’ has changed its logo today. The news was roaming around for a few days and fans were very much excited to see the new logo of OnePlus after 6 years.
OnePlus’ brand identity has remained the same since its inception 6 years back: Red and white color theme, same logo, and the same font. The CEO of OnePlus, Pete Lau, in a blog post earlier hinted that the company will go through a significant visual overhaul and the new updated brand identity might be revealed on March 18. And OnePlus unveiled their new logo today on Weibo and its own website.
What’s New?
The new logo is pretty much the same as the old one, featuring the same 1+ icon, and the box that surrounds it. The only change that happened came through in the form of its font. The font change is subtle but noticeable. OnePlus fans will immediately see that the new font is more bold and eye-catching.
On Weibo today OnePlus mobile expressed,
” The new brand vision is more dynamic and attractive, and there are some new changes in the design of the name and font! “
The new and updated look isn’t as significant of a visual overhaul as Pete Lau claimed it to be. Fans who have been waiting for a major visual change since the teaser will be disappointed but at the same time, there are a lot of fans who would rejoice that the familiar logo didn’t go through much change and it’s still kinda the same, simple OnePlus logo that they love.
Having said all these don’t forget to let us know your viewpoint about this new logo of ‘OnePlus’. Let’s see what is new for OnePlus with this new logo in the future and wait how long will they stick with this new logo.
