Has the tune already started playing in your ears, followed by your lips singing one of the amazing jingles that we have ever heard in many years? A while ago I was asking myself, “do I still remember the whole lyrics?” The answer was “Yes, I do!” like every other youths and teenager in 2006!

Maybe the biggest challenge for Nescafe and Asiatic team had to overcome while making the “Cholo Shobai #LifetaGoroNijerMoto” was the hype, unconditional love, and standard of the previous one. In the very first “Cholo Shobai”, Nescafe asked everyone to dare to “Embrace the Call of Life and Let’s Go” where the second one is about “Let’s go forward and DESIGN Your Life as You Want”.

DESIGN

This AV has many amazing things like eye catchy soothing visualization, amazing fast cut actions and transitions, dare to show the problems of our society along with showing how our young generation can easily solve it with just their will powers. But the drawing in the wall leaves everything behind towards its path to glory. This design is without a doubt, the core message of this AV where the team tried to establish that WE ARE THE DESIGNERS OF OUR LIVES with the jingle.

Transition

It’s never too easy to show many scenes in one AV. Many great ideas have fallen to the ground trying to do so for not using proper transitions. But this one has been different than others. Fast cut actions and the right moment transitions of the characters have made it more attractive for the audience.

Visual

Maybe Nescafe has been one of our most favorite brands just of their strong and soothing visuals in their AVs. Showing the slice of young lives, their desires, what they can do if they want. This has been a feast for the eyes.

Does it have the right product placement?

This is where the AV falls behind its predecessor. The previous one didn’t have that many product shot which helped us to welcome it more as a song/music video rather than an advertisement. But a couple of shots in the latter throw that chance away for us.

Yet it brings back the 13-years old memory back down to the lane. Doesn’t it? Let us know your thought on this long awaited Cholo Shobai 2.0.
