Navana Pharmaceuticals Strengthens Cybersecurity with Grameenphone’s GP Shield

Grameenphone, the country’s leading telecommunications services provider, has entered into a corporate partnership with Navana Pharmaceuticals PLC to enhance digital safety for their workforce through GP Shield, Grameenphone’s advanced DNS-layer security solution as stated in the press release.

As part of this partnership, Navana Pharmaceuticals has implemented GP Shield for its entire workforce, enabling secure internet access and protection against phishing, malware, and ransomware attacks. By blocking threats at the DNS layer before they reach users, the solution ensures a safer and more seamless online experience.

The signing ceremony was held recently, with Dr. Asif Naimur Rashid, Chief Business Officer of Grameenphone, and Dr. Sayeed Ahmed, Acting Managing Director of Navana Pharmaceuticals, signing the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations. Also present from Grameenphone were Farha Naz Zaman, Chief Marketing Officer; M. Shaon Azad, Head of Large Accounts; Nabeelah Enayet Prova, Head of Prime Accounts 1; Syed Masud Mahmood, Head of HR Strategy & Partnering – Business, IT and Tech; and Aditi Sen, Product Manager. From Navana Pharmaceuticals, attendees included Atique Dewan Haque, Head of HR & Admin; Malay Kumar Dey, Head of IT; and other senior officials.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Asif Naimur Rashid, Chief Business Officer of Grameenphone, said, “Our longstanding partnership with Navana reflects our shared commitment to strengthening enterprise digital resilience in Bangladesh.
