Metlife Signs Agreement With IDLC Asset Management Limited

MetLife Bangladesh has recently signed an agreement with IDLC Asset Management Limited. As part of this agreement, IDLC Asset Management Limited (IDLC AML) will manage equity or stock market investments for a newly launched insurance solution titled “Endowment Growth” by MetLife Bangladesh.

This partnership will enable MetLife’s customers to avail potentially higher financial benefits from their insurance policies, said a press release.

IDLC Asset Management Limited, a subsidiary of IDLC Finance PLC, has built a strong reputation within Bangladesh’s financial sector for its long-term, disciplined investment strategies in fundamental stocks. By working with IDLC AML, MetLife aims to integrate this approach into its product offerings to deliver better value to policyholders.

The agreement was signed by Ala Uddin, Deputy Managing Director & Chief Financial Officer of MetLife Bangladesh, and Kazi Mashook ul Haq, Managing Director of IDLC Asset Management Limited. The event was attended by key representatives from both companies, including Ala Ahmad, CEO of MetLife Bangladesh, and M Jamal Uddin, CEO of IDLC Finance PLC.
