Marico Bangladesh posted 11% sales growth in April-June (Q1) quarter1 min read

Marico Bangladesh’s sales grew by 11% YoY despite the countrywide second phase lockdown in that period. Sales grew mainly due to hair oil and baby care portfolio of the company.

Sales was Tk 334.4 crore in Q1’21-22 which was Tk 301.1 crore in Q1’20-21. Marico’s profit also increased by 8.4% YoY to Tk 108 crore.

During the quarter the company also launched Red King Cooling Oil, Nihar Naturals Lovely and Parachute Naturale Hijab Fresh shampoo.
