For mortgaged assets, banks will oversee auctions through designated legal channels. Non-mortgaged companies will follow standard procedures for asset sales. The government has requested detailed reports on the companies’ assets, liabilities, and workforce to ensure a smooth transition.
Additionally, Beximco is tasked with providing an accurate list of affected workers to streamline the reemployment process. Steps are also being taken to settle overdue wages, with provisions made for partial payments in recent months.
Efforts are underway to resolve the situation, ensuring both financial recovery and support for the displaced workforce.
