As millions of people prepare to travel home and celebrate Eid with their loved ones, Banglalink has strengthened its nationwide network to ensure customers can stay connected wherever their journey takes them.

Rooted in a people‑first philosophy and a deep sense of care, this initiative reflects Banglalink’s belief that connectivity is not just about technology, it is about people, relationships, and shared moments. Eid is a time of emotion, togetherness, and belonging, when staying connected carries special meaning.

By reinforcing its network ahead of the festive rush, Banglalink aims to support these moments with reliability and reassurance, so customers can focus on being present with the people they care about most.

Over the past year, the digital operator has modernized more than 750 network sites across the country, strengthening coverage, increasing capacity, and enhancing overall network performance. These improvements are especially critical during Eid, when travel and communication peak as families reunite across cities, towns, and villages.

Customers in upgraded areas can now enjoy up to 35% faster internet speeds, enabling smoother browsing, clearer video calls, and uninterrupted streaming. Whether on highways, in transport hubs, or back in their hometowns, customers can rely on improved connectivity throughout the Eid holidays.
To further support seamless communication, Banglalink has also introduced WiFi Calling (VoWiFi). This feature allows customers to make and receive calls over WiFi, which is particularly helpful in locations where mobile signals may be weaker, such as inside buildings or high‑rise apartments—ensuring important conversations are never missed.

Huseyin Turker, Chief Technology and Information Officer of Banglalink, said: “Eid is a special time when millions of people travel home to be with their loved ones and share moments that truly matter. Our priority has been to ensure that connectivity quietly supports those moments. By strengthening our network across the country and introducing solutions like WiFi Calling, we want customers to feel reassured that they can stay close to their families and friends, wherever their Eid journey takes them. Because for us, connectivity is not just about technology, it is about helping people stay close to the ones they care about.”
