GEEKY Social, Bangladesh’s pioneering digital-first advertising agency built for the new, connected world, has launched GEEKY AIQ, an AI Brand Monitoring tool designed to help brand managers understand how their brands are being seen, mentioned and recommended across leading AI platforms as stated in the Press Release.

The platform responds to a growing shift in consumer behaviour as people increasingly use tools such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini and other AI assistants to research products, compare companies and seek recommendations before making purchase decisions.

McKinsey’s March 2026 research in Europe found that 38% of respondents were using AI tools to research products and services or help decide what to purchase. Adobe’s 2026 AI and Digital Trends Consumer Survey found that 24.9% of consumers cited AI-powered platforms such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot among the sources they use most often to search for information, make purchase decisions or find recommendations. Company and brand websites were cited by 21.0%.

For marketers, this creates another layer of digital visibility. A consumer can now ask an AI assistant about a product category, receive a shortlist of brands and compare alternatives without ever visiting a company’s website or social media presence.

GEEKY AIQ has been built to help brands understand what happens during that process.

The AI Search Visibility platform enables marketing teams to monitor whether their brands appear in relevant AI-generated responses, how they are described, whether they are recommended and which competing brands appear more frequently. It also tracks brand mentions, sentiment, competitive share of voice, citations and visibility across relevant prompts.

From social listening to AI listening

For years, marketers have used social listening tools to understand what people are saying about their brands. Generative AI introduces a related but different question: What is AI saying about my brand?

AI systems can form their understanding of businesses from websites, media coverage, third-party mentions, reviews, citations and other digital sources, then synthesize that information into an answer or recommendation for a potential customer.

“Brand discovery is no longer happening on one or two platforms. Consumers can discover a brand through search, social media, an AI assistant or an AI-generated recommendation. For brand managers, this creates an entirely new visibility challenge,” said Mahadi Hasan Sagor, Co-founder and Managing Director of GEEKY Social.

Designed primarily for brand managers, CMOs and marketing teams, GEEKY AIQ translates AI-search data into business-focused intelligence rather than requiring users to interpret specialist technical metrics.

A brand manager could, for example, identify that a competitor is appearing more frequently in AI recommendations around an important category question, examine the signals associated with that difference and determine where the brand’s digital presence may require attention.

Moving beyond monitoring

GEEKY Social says the platform has been designed to go beyond simply producing an AI visibility score. Where a brand is consistently absent from AI-generated recommendations while competitors appear, GEEKY AIQ is designed to identify potential visibility gaps and provide actionable recommendations.

Those recommendations may involve website and content information, citations, third-party mentions, digital PR, brand authority and other elements of the wider digital ecosystem. Brands can work on the recommendations internally or engage GEEKY Social across SEO, Answer Engine Optimization, content, Digital PR and broader digital discoverability.

“We built GEEKY AIQ to give marketers a simple answer to a very important question: When consumers ask AI about my category, what does AI know about my brand and does it recommend us? More importantly, the platform is designed to tell brands what they can do next,” said Md Saimum Hossain, Co-founder and Head of Business at GEEKY Social.

GEEKY Social describes the emergence of AI-mediated discovery as the arrival of another audience brands increasingly need to understand: the “robot consumer”. While humans still make the purchase decision, AI systems can increasingly influence which companies enter the consideration set, how those companies are described and which options consumers are encouraged to consider.

Developed in Bangladesh for marketers and businesses globally, GEEKY AIQ reflects GEEKY Social’s view that the next generation of brand listening will increasingly involve understanding both what people say about a brand and what AI says about it.
