Fair Technology to Manufacture Hyundai Cars in Bangladesh2 min read

Fair Technology, a venture of Fair Group is going to be the nation’s sole distributor of Hyundai Motor Company. Recently, the company declared to establish an assembling unit of South Korean global vehicle creator Hyundai Motors in the country. In this regard, Authorities of Fair Technologies concocted the declaration along with a signing ceremony that took place in Gulshan Avenue, at The Westin.

Subsequently, the officials of Fair Technology signed the agreement with the Bangladesh HiTech Park Authority.  Not to mention, the deal includes setting up a manufacturing unit of Hyundai in the country. Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority managing director Hosne Ara Begum, Korean ambassador in Dhaka LEE Jang-Keun, ICT ministry senior secretary NM Zeaul Alam. Coupled with, Fair Technology director Mutassim Daiaan and Fair Group adviser Hamid R Chowdhury, among others, were present at the ceremony.

Generally speaking, through the technology and expertise of Hyundai, the nation will experience world-class cars at an affordable price. Under the circumstances, the assembling unit is expected to be ready for operation by December 2021. As per the officials, production will be carried out on a trial basis in January-March of 2022. In due course, the ‘Made in Bangladesh’ Hyundai vehicles will be available on the market from April 2022.

Preceding this activity, Fair Electronics, another concern of Fair Group, begun producing gadget equipment in the country. Such as the mobile handsets and TVs of Samsung.
