Crayta is a cloud streaming technology that serves as a platform for users to make, play and share games. It gives users a simple creation interface along with several community features.
The acquisition is aimed at making gaming content creation easier on Facebook. “In the future, people on Facebook will create experiences in a matter of minutes without the need to code, while more advanced creators can make content limited only by their imagination.” says the Vice President of Facebook Gaming.
The acquisition will not lead to any layoffs as the entire team will join forces. The financial terms of the deal were not declared.
