Energypac Power Generation PLC has recently held a fire safety campaign at Shailat High School located in Sripur, Gazipur with a view to raising awareness among the students, teachers and other staff of the school about fire safety protocols, according to press release.

Fire safety is now a burning issue in the country. On an average, around 73 fire incidents occurred per day in the country in 2024. In many cases, it is observed that people do not possess adequate knowledge about what to do if fire breaks out. To create awareness, Energypac organized this at the premises of Shailat High School.

Around 250 participants including students, teachers, parents, and guardians participated in the training session. The event featured an engaging hands-on session where students actively took part in learning critical fire safety techniques. Participants gained valuable knowledge on fire prevention, the proper use of extinguishers, and safe evacuation procedures. The session was particularly effective in instilling a culture of safety among young students and fostering a sense of responsibility within the broader school community.

It is mentionable that Energypac remains committed to leading impactful CSR initiatives focused on public safety, sustainability, and community development across Bangladesh.
