BRAC Bank has achieved a landmark USD 1 billion in international trade transactions within a single month, showing its growing strength in facilitating export and import flows for its clients.

The milestone reflects the bank’s robust foreign exchange capability, strong client relationships, and continued investment in technology and service excellence as stated in the Press Release.

The achievement was marked at a ceremony at the Bank’s Head Office in Dhaka, attended by Tareq Refat Ullah Khan, Managing Director & CEO, alongside senior leaders from Wholesale Banking and Operations divisions, including Md. Shaheen Iqbal, Additional Managing Director & Head of Wholesale Banking, Md, Asif Bin Idrish, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Corporate, Commercial & Institutional Banking and Md. Muniruzzaman Molla, Deputy Managing Director & Head of Operations. AKM Faisal Halim, Head of Transaction Banking.

This milestone has been driven by a differentiated corporate banking approach that combines deep, relationship-led engagement across industries with a fully integrated, one-stop trade service model. Strong FX liquidity support, seamless coordination across business and operations, and continued digital innovation have further enhanced the bank’s ability to deliver efficient, reliable trade solutions at scale.
