Banglalink, the country’s leading digital operator, has received four prestigious recognitions at the CIPS Asia Excellence in Procurement and Supply Awards 2026, reaffirming its commitment to innovation, sustainability, social impact, and procurement excellence on the international stage as stated in the Press Release.

Organized by the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS), the CIPS Asia Excellence in Procurement and Supply Awards were held in Singapore from July 7 to 9, 2026. Regarded as one of the Asia-Pacific region’s most prestigious recognitions in procurement and supply chain management, the awards celebrate organizations that demonstrate outstanding innovation, strategic impact, and excellence.

Competing alongside leading multinational organizations from across the region, Banglalink was honored for its achievements in social value creation, sustainability, risk management, and procurement leadership.

Commenting on the achievement, Ashik Shobhan, Supply Chain Management Director of Banglalink, said, “This recognition reflects the dedication, innovation, and strategic vision of our procurement team. Winning across four categories at a global platform of this stature is a testament to how far we have come in embedding sustainability, social value, and operational excellence into our procurement practices. I congratulate every member of the team for this outstanding achievement.”

Banglalink won “Best Initiative to Deliver Social Value through Procurement” for its Procurement Enabling Inclusive Digital Education project, led by Category Manager Qazi Sanzid Ahmed, and “Best Sustainability Project of the Year” for its Carbon-Smart Green Microwave Connectivity initiative, represented by Category Manager Nazirul Islam Khan.

The company also received Runner-Up recognition in “Best Approach to Risk Mitigation” for its RAN (Radio Access Network) Transformation project, represented by Senior Category Manager Abdullah Al Faruque, and “Procurement Team of the Year”, represented by Supply Chain Management Director Ashik Shobhan.
