8 Uniliver brands among top 25 most chosen according to Kantar’s brand footprint1 min read

The most successful fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) brands are determined annually by surveys carried out by Kantar Worldpanel in the Brand Footprint. The extensive analysis of FMCG brands measures which brands consumers are buying the most, more frequently all over the world. The study examines around 1 billion households and 300 billion shopper decisions around the world. This year, out of the 25 most chosen FMCG brands, 8 of them were Unilever brands with Lifebuoy making it to the third most chosen brand by consumers.

The seven other Unilever brands are Knorr, Lux, Dove, Sunsilk, Vim, Pepsodent and Sunlight. Previously, Unilever had also topped the charts with the most brands in the top 50.

When it comes to consumers’ choice, it seems like they are devoted to the brands that provide great value with the right price. The brand footprint highlights the opportunities for brands to improve their position. While the rankings consist of the leading global brands that consumers are very familiar with, it is no surprise that the average age of the top 50 brands is 103.
