PepsiCo Contemplates Entering Alcoholic Liquor Business1 min read

On the other hand, its beverage product portfolio includes carbonated soft drinks, juices, ready-to-drink tea, and coffee. Additionally, sports drinks, and bottled water.

Be that as it may, PepsiCo Inc meanwhile stated to consider entering in alcoholic cider business. Notably, this announcement came following the news of their rival Coca-Cola Co launching an alcoholic sparkling water in the US next year.

Prior, The company applied to registering its Russian Gift trademark under the classification of alcohol. However, the authority canceled the registration in June 2011.

To sum up, this will be the first time in history that Pepsico producing alcoholic cider. Moreover, the alcohol content of mead, for example, ranges from 10 percent to 16 percent. As a matter of fact, this company has no other known projects to produce alcohol.
