Grameenphone, the country’s leading telecommunications service provider, has further strengthened its presence in the north-western region with the inauguration of a new Grameenphone Centre (GPC) in Dinajpur, reaffirming its commitment to delivering reliable connectivity and superior customer experience across the country as stated in the Press Release.

The centre was inaugurated recently at Ganeshtola, Dinajpur, in the presence of Grameenphone officials including Chief Risk Officer Md. Arif Uddin; Head of Customer Experience Abdullah Al Mahmud; and Circle Business Head, Rajshahi, Atiqul Hossain, along with Dinajpur GPC Partner Tamal Majumder and other esteemed guests.

Designed to reflect the heritage of the region, the newly inaugurated GPC features terracotta walls inspired by the intricate motifs of Kantajew Temple. Nearly 99 percent of customer services at the centre are paperless, while sustainable materials have been used throughout the space, reinforcing Grameenphone’s focus on sustainability and digital transformation.

Dinajpur, one of the prominent cities of north-western Bangladesh, is widely known for its rich cultural heritage, fertile agricultural lands, famous litchis, and aromatic Kataribhog rice. The region also attracts visitors through iconic landmarks such as Kantajew Temple and Ramsagar National Park, reflecting a unique blend of history, tradition, and natural beauty.

As Dinajpur continues to witness growing urbanization, educational advancement, and digital adoption, customer expectations for seamless connectivity and modern services are evolving rapidly.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Md. Arif Uddin, Chief Risk Officer, Grameenphone, said, “At Grameenphone, we remain committed to serving our customers with greater care, convenience, and accessibility through innovative and customer-centric initiatives. The inauguration of this customer centre in Dinajpur reflects our continued focus on strengthening our regional presence. We believe every interaction matters, and this centre is designed to offer a modern, seamless, and sustainable experience that truly puts customers at the heart of everything we do.”

Through this initiative, Grameenphone aims to strengthen dependable connectivity and deliver enhanced, future-ready customer experience to the people of Dinajpur.
