The inauguration ceremony of JCI Dhaka Alpha for the year 2026 was held in a vibrant and elegant atmosphere, marking the beginning of a new leadership term committed to impactful initiatives and sustainable development.
The Founding Local President, Md Asifur Rahman, officially assumed his responsibilities in the presence of distinguished guests and members.
The event was graced by Niaz Rahim, Managing Director of Rahimafrooz Group, and Arefin Raafi, National President of JCI Bangladesh. They delivered inspiring speeches emphasizing youth leadership, entrepreneurship, and active community engagement.
Md Asifur Rahman, Managing Partner of Bangladesh Sports, O.K. Sports (since 1942), Sports Co, and Unique Sports Wear, and Consultant at Astha Life Insurance, shared his vision of strengthening leadership development, empowering young entrepreneurs, and expanding impactful community-based initiatives. He emphasized creating meaningful opportunities for members to grow professionally and socially while contributing to society.
Other founding board members include Kazi Md Shafiul Anwar – Local Executive Vice President, Zain Asif Rahman – Local Vice President, Farhan Mahmud – Local Secretary General, Nazia Hossain – Local Treasurer, Mohammad Shoeb – Local General Legal Counsel, Syed Mubin Ul Alam – Local Training Officer, Shanila Ainab – Local Committee Chair, Erani Tabassum – Local Committee Chair, along with Foyaz Ahmed Talukder, Ridwan Rahman, Mehnaz Awlad, Safa Rabib Rahman, and Safoan Bin Rashid serving as Local Directors.
The ceremony concluded with a strong call for unity, active participation, and collective efforts from all members to build a better society through leadership, innovation, and service.
