Jason Kilar: Ex-Hulu Chief Is Now The CEO Of WarnerMedia2 min read
Former Hulu chief Jason Kilar is going to be the new CEO of WarnerMedia. Thus, Warner Bros., HBO, the Turner cable assets and HBO Max streaming platform will come under his surveillance.
Speaking about Kilar, he will take place of John Stankey who is now AT&T president and chief operating officer. A few weeks back Kilar’s name came up as a contender. With regard to his decision, it is another sign that WarnerMedia parent organization AT&T considering the huge streaming of future profit driver for WarnerMedia. Therefore, he will officially accept the position on May 1 and report to Stankey.

In saying Kilar’s appointment, Stankey also reaffirmed AT&T’s plan to release HBO Max in May. The considered will change as the coronavirus pandemic up-ended commercial enterprise hobby within the U.S. And around the world. WarnerMedia is believed to be targeting a late May debut date.

Jason Kilar’s Background:
Kilar served as co-founder and CEO of the startup streamer Vessel from 2013 to 2017. He’s also served on the boards of Univision and DreamWorks Animation in current years. Before Hulu, Kilar changed into a senior govt at Amazon from 1997 to 2006.
