Daraz Becomes The Sponsor Of Bangladesh National Cricket Team2 min read
Daraz will show up on the kits of both Bangladesh national men’s and women’s teams, Bangladesh A-Team, and the Bangladesh U19 team.
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Wednesday declared Daraz as the new sponsor of the Bangladesh national cricket team. Daraz has been granted the rights till November 2023 under which its logo will show up on the kits of both Bangladesh national men’s and women’s team, Bangladesh A-Team, and the Bangladesh U19 team.
Hungry Naki- A sister concern of Daraz has also become the Kits Sponsor of BCB.

BCB’s journey has been quite arduous in sealing a long-term title sponsorship deal due to the pandemic till they signed the partnership with Daraz Bangladesh. Their previous agreement with Unilever had ended in January 2021 since then the team had been under interim sponsorships.
BCB’s CEO Nizamuddin Chowdhury expressed the board’s delight to have Daraz as their partner. “The BCB is delighted to form a partnership with an organization of international repute and one that has a progressive and innovative outlook. I thank Daraz for coming forward and associating its brand with Bangladesh Cricket. I am sure this will be a strong and durable relationship as we work towards the common goal of pursuing successes for Bangladesh cricket” he quoted in the press release.

Daraz’s Managing Director, Syed Mostahidal Hoq, said “This is an auspicious moment for us because it always gives you immense pleasure to be able to do something for the country. By sponsoring our National Cricket Team we feel that we have become a part of the passion and glory associated with the game in Bangladesh and we look forward to celebrating many achievements in the years to come.”
BCB and Daraz’s partnership will officially begin when Team Bangladesh tours Sri Lanka, playing a two-match Test series commencing April 21 in Kandy.
