BTRC fixed broadband internet tariffs

Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC), the telecom regulator has fixed tariffs for broadband internet throughout the value chain to ensure uniform rate for internet users around the country.

The telecom regulator set tariffs for transmission, bandwidth and services availed by ISPs from NTTN (Nationwide Telecommunication Transmission Network) and IIG (International Internet Gateway) operators.

The price for 5Mbps has been set at Tk 500 per month, 10 Mbps has been set at Tk 800 per month and 20 Mbps has been set at Tk 1,200 per month.
