Dhaka, Thursday, May 7, 2026: BRAC Bank TARA, in collaboration with Crowne Plaza Dhaka Gulshan, will host The Motherhood Movement on Sunday, 10 May 2026, a day-long Mother’s Day celebration built around the theme “Where Mothers Become Icons.”
The initiative moves beyond conventional celebration to recognise mothers as entrepreneurs, leaders, and changemakers shaping both families and the economy, and welcomes families, friends, and walk-in guests across the city to join free of charge.
The day opens at 10:00 AM with the Mother’s Market at the Ball Room on the 25th floor, a curated showcase of nearly 30 mother-led businesses presenting handcrafted products, boutique fashion, artisanal foods, and wellness innovations. The Market will remain open till 9:00 PM, offering visitors a full day to browse, shop, and meet the women behind the brands.
In the afternoon, the celebration moves into the Passion, Power & Possibility — Leadership Session from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at The Beast on the 26th floor. The hour-long panel brings together accomplished professionals and inspiring mothers for a candid conversation on balancing business and motherhood, exploring leadership, personal identity, and the structural and emotional dynamics that define modern motherhood. The session will be followed by high tea for TARA cardholders.
The day will close with the Inspiring Mothers Awards from 6:30 PM at The Beast, honouring exceptional women whose journeys exemplify perseverance, creativity, and leadership across categories including Mompreneur, Most Creative Mother, and Inspiring Mother. The ceremony will feature a half-hour cultural performance and conclude with dinner.
