BRAC Bank has appointed 35 Management Trainees for its branch operations through its signature Talent Onboarding program, Young Leaders, according to press release.

This recruitment is part of BRAC Bank’s strategy to expand the Branch Distribution Network through branches and sub-branches across the country. The Young Leaders will bring new perspectives and drive innovation to enhance the banking convenience of the valued customers. Upon completing a one-year development program, these young talents will be placed in different branches nationwide, said in press release.

As part of the onboarding initiative, the Young Leaders underwent a comprehensive and rigorous selection process, including psychometric assessments, personality profiling, and competency-based interviews conducted by independent professionals. This process ensures that only the best-fit candidates are selected for the program.

The new batch was warmly welcomed at an induction ceremony at the bank’s head office in Dhaka on February 2, 2025. Selim R. F. Hussain, Managing Director and CEO; Sheikh Mohammad Ashfaque, Deputy Managing Director and Head Branch Distribution Network; Akhteruddin Mahmood, Head of Human Resources; attended the ceremony.

About the recruitment of the first batch of branch-specific Young Leaders, Sheikh Mohammad Ashfaque, Deputy Managing Director and Head Branch Distribution Network, said, “Our people are the most important ingredients for the success of the Bank. To support our growth plans, it is essential that we invest in our people’s development and continually bring in freshers with new ideas and perspectives. We aim to create a work environment that fosters learning, enjoyment, and meaningful impact.” 

“Our Branch Young Leaders’ Program is essential to our investment in developing a solid and talented group of future leaders who will eventually lead various branches and departments within the Distribution Network. We are excited to guide our future leaders on this thrilling and fulfilling journey,” he added.
