BRAC Bank has launched the Visa Cashback Credit Card, introducing a rewarding proposition that delivers tangible savings, lifestyle value, and financial flexibility for customers across Bangladesh as stated in the Press Release.
Designed to maximise the joy of everyday spending, the card enables customers to earn up to BDT 8,400 in annual cashback across retail, grocery, healthcare and wallet-related transactions.
Newly issued primary cardholders will receive welcome vouchers from leading merchants, including Pickaboo, Artisan, Gadget & Gear and Chaldal. During the first three months of issuance, customers will also enjoy monthly cashback of up to BDT 300 on POS, QR and e-commerce spending.
The card continues to offer 1% cashback on bKash wallet transfer processing fees. Customers will also enjoy 10% monthly cashback on spending at popular grocery outlets such as Shwapno, Meena Bazar, Agora, and Unimart Limited. It further offers 10% monthly cashback on spending at renowned healthcare outlets such as Lazz Pharma, Tamanna Pharmacy and Arogga.
For large local or international purchases, the credit card offers flexible EMI options ranging from 6 to 24 months through the bank’s digital banking app Astha. In addition, an EMI facility of up to 36 months is available at more than 1,700 partner merchants across the country.
Moreover, customers will earn reward points on transactions, which can be redeemed against eligible retail purchases or used to waive annual fees. The card also includes an optional Credit Shield Insurance facility, offering hospitalisation coverage and enhanced protection against death, permanent disability and critical illness.
The Visa Cashback Credit Card was inaugurated by Tareq Refat Ullah Khan, Managing Director and CEO of BRAC Bank, along with Shabbir Ahmed, Country Manager, Visa, and Mahiul Islam, DMD and Head of Retail Banking Division, BRAC Bank, on February 17, 2026, at the bank’s head office. Senior officials from Visa and BRAC Bank were also present at the launching ceremony.
