Now in its 117th edition, Jabbar-er Boli Khela remains a key part of Chattogram’s cultural heritage. Introduced in 1909 by local merchant Abdul Jabbar Sawdagor to inspire and organize young people, the competition has evolved into a major public gathering over time. Held annually in the first month of the Bangla year, it continues to attract renowned wrestlers and spectators from across the country while preserving its long-standing tradition.

This year’s Jabbar-er Boli Khela will be livestreamed on Toffee. The livestream will allow audiences across the country to watch the event in real time, highlighting the growing role of digital platforms in preserving and promoting traditional sports among newer generations.

The descendants of Abdul Jabbar and members of the local community continue to play a key role in maintaining the authenticity and continuity of the competition. Their efforts ensure participation from people across the country, turning the event into a vibrant gathering each year. Through this sponsorship, Banglalink aims to take Jabbar-er Boli Khela beyond Chattogram and reach audiences nationwide.
