Banglalink has recently announced a range of initiatives aimed at enhancing the comfort and convenience of Eid travel for individuals across Bangladesh. As the joyous festival of Eid-ul-Fitr draws near, many prepare to journey to their hometowns to celebrate with loved ones. However, recognizing the challenges often associated with this period, particularly amidst crowded travel conditions, Banglalink, as a leading digital service provider in the nation, is dedicated to extending support and kindness during this festive season.

To address the needs of travelers, Banglalink has significantly bolstered its 4G network capacity, ensuring widespread coverage certified as the Fastest 4G by Ookla. Additionally, as part of its commitment to facilitating travel for underprivileged individuals, Banglalink will be offering complimentary bus rides across the country, enabling those facing financial constraints to reunite with their families safely.

Moreover, Banglalink’s volunteer teams are stationed at key transportation hubs in Dhaka, including Gabtali, Mohakhali, and Saidabad bus terminals, Kamalapur railway station, airport station, and Sadarghat launch terminal. These teams are offering various services such as luggage assistance and distribution of hand-fans to alleviate the discomfort of travel during the sweltering summer months.

Recognizing the significance of religious observance during Ramadan, Banglalink will provide prayer mats and designated prayer spaces at select transit locations, facilitating congregational prayers for travelers. Additionally, its volunteer teams are active along crucial highways and journey breakpoints, including Dhaka-Chittagong, Dhaka-Sylhet, Dhaka-Rangpur, and Dhaka-Jessore highways, to provide assistance and support to passengers.

Banglalink started carrying out these initiatives during the final seven days of Ramadan at 20 locations within and outside Dhaka and the telecom giant remains committed to enhancing the Eid travel experience, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable journey for all travelers during this auspicious occasion.

Commenting on these initiatives, Taimur Rahman, Chief Corporate and Regulatory Affairs Officer, of Banglalink, stated, “At Banglalink, we believe in the power of kindness and the importance of supporting our community, especially during moments of celebration and togetherness. As we prepare to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr, we are proud to launch these initiatives aimed at bringing comfort and relief to homegoing individuals. Through our actions, we hope to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those traveling across the country, ensuring that everyone can return home safely and enjoy the festivities with their loved ones.”
