Banglalink has partnered with Romoni, a beauty-tech platform offering home and experience-based salon services, to help its women service providers diversify their income through financial inclusion and digital empowerment as stated in the Press release.

The initiative will equip them with the skills to perform digital recharges and earn commissions through their smartphones, using the app as a primary earning tool. The signing ceremony recently took place at Tigers’ Den, Banglalink headquarters, with senior representatives from both organizations in attendance.

Under this collaboration, service providers will be able to sell recharge and other digital services via the app, creating an additional income stream. They will also gain essential digital literacy and responsible usage skills, enabling them to operate safely and confidently in a digital marketplace.

Banglalink Power, developed as a social distribution platform, enables users to earn from recharge sales with no setup cost. Users can onboard through a digital KYC process, track commissions in real time, and benefit from a transparent reward system.

This creates a practical way to complement existing work with an added digital income stream, particularly for women who are already active and trusted within their communities, offering them a clear entry point into the digital economy.

The initiative reflects Banglalink’s broader focus on enabling women and micro-entrepreneurs to move from basic digital awareness to active, skills-driven participation in the digital economy.

Sharing the vision behind the initiative, Muhammad Mehedi Hasan, Sales and Distribution Director, Banglalink, said: “Women like Romoni’s service providers are already doing meaningful work within their communities. What we want is to ensure they also have the digital skills and tools to grow further. Banglalink Power offers a real and accessible way to earn, while building the confidence needed to unlock new opportunities.”

Armin Zaman Khan, CEO, Romoni, said: “This partnership opens new doors for our service providers. The Banglalink Power app provides the technology platform needed to expand their services and increase daily earnings. It is about equipping them with the right tools to unlock opportunities in the digital economy and strengthen financial independence.” From Banglalink, Muhammad Mehedi Hasan, Sales and Distribution Director; Md. Khaledul Hasan, Deputy Director, Digital Recharge and Alternate Channel; and Mohammad Tahmidur Rahman, Head of Digital Recharge, were present at the event. From Romoni, Armin Zaman Khan, CEO, and Nashiba Samarat, Assistant Manager, Marketing, also attended.
