After Two Years, She Loves Tech 2022 Bangladesh Cohort Was Carried Out Successfully In Public1 min read
The grand finale of She Loves Tech 2022 Bangladesh was organized by Turtle Venture today in collaboration with the respective partners- Daraz Bangladesh, Startup Bangladesh Limited, Bangladesh Angels, SBK Tech Ventures, Moar, and BWIN, said a press release.
The participants pitched in front of the judging panel consisting of-
- The Chief guest Sami Ahmed (Managing Director, Startup Bangladesh Ltd.)
- Bijon Islam (CEO of LightCastle Partners Ltd)
- Ahmed Yusuf (Advisory Lead, Bangladesh Angels)
- Sharawwat Islam (Managing Director, Truvalu Enterprises Limited)
- Kerry Breen (Partner, SBK Tech Ventures)
The champion startup was Vertical Innovations Limited founded by Rezwan Ahamed Noor Shabbin followed by Mommykidz as 1st runner up and Food Patrons as 2nd runner up.
Other finalist participants were Silswa, Medisquare, and Peora.
The event continued with an award-giving ceremony, including presenting the crests to the winners and competition finalists by the honored Chief Guest Sami Ahmed.
All the startups that were selected for the finale went through a competitive selection process. This time, after careful revisions through about 150+ applications, Turtle Venture held a month-long boot camp and sessions where they called the top 5 shortlisted startups through face-to-face interviews, pitch presentations, and rigorous training!
Turtle Venture plans to continue with such events further into the future and on a bigger scale. With the recent launch of Turtle Venture Studio, hopefully, there are going to be a lot more exciting events, programs, and competitions to look forward to.
